Deb grew up with a dad who left the house at 5am, 6 days a week for his daily jog, often on Boston’s coldest and snowiest streets. As a child, Deb thought it was totally crazy, though she now finds herself doing the same thing...and looking forward to it!
Deb began running starting in her teenage years but didn’t catch the true runners bug until 2012 when she had her twins, her 3rd and 4th children. With 4 kids under 5, time was at a premium and running was the most efficient workout Deb could think of. Soon, she realized the added emotional benefit as well. It was 1 hour of time to clear her head in an otherwise totally hectic day. Deb quickly started increasing her weekly mileage and setting her sights on different races as opportunities to challenge herself.
Deb runs numerous half marathons each year and her passion for the sport continues to grow. Deb is crazy about running and she knows she can help you feel the same!
Deb is a RRCA certified running coach who looks forward to helping you find that notorious runner’s high and giving you a kickass workout!
I am a mom, a marathon runner (x12), a coach and a fit life connoisseur. I believe in the possibility of life balance and work together with athletes to achieve that life balance.
My biggest sense of accomplishment is when people realize they are not alone, that they can share in their journey, that they can achieve goals, be empowered and enjoy balance in their lives.
Put one foot in front of the other and GET GOING. Its the power of forward. If you just continually put one foot in front of the other and fight the urge to stop, you will always be surprised at how much gets accomplished.
Do what you love, don’t feel guilty for it … don’t apologize for it. Just enjoy it. You will always be good at what you love.
3. BE PRESENT
Savor moments. Whether its GOING or ENJOYING its so important to BE in the moment. Look around, smile and notice how awesome life is.”
